Supreet Jasani is an information technology professional fluent in several programming languages, including C++, Visual Basic, HTML, Java, and more. After moving to Canada from India, where he attended the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and CMC Academy, Mr. Jasani attended Seneca College in Toronto. In August 2008, he completed the two-year program in Computer Networking and Technical Support (CNS). Together with his coursework at IGNOU and his diploma in Advanced Software Technology from CMC Academy, Mr. Jasani’s CNS certification rounds out an impressive academic foundation.
Professionally, Supreet Jasani has worked in the information technology industry since January 2004, working as a Trainer for Data Communication and Technology for the Institute of Animation & Networking Training (IANT) in Pitampura, India. In this role, Mr. Jasani assembled and configured various Cisco devices and routers; he established Internet protocol (IP) addresses and access lists within the company as well. After a year with IANT, he accepted a full-time position as Technical Support Executive for Wipro in New Delhi. While working for Wipro, Supreet Jasani assisted clients with wireless troubleshooting and router configuration, and he arranged service calls and escalation of more difficult cases.
Since moving to Canada, Mr. Jasani has held several different roles, starting with a Lab Assistant opportunity at Seneca College. Working directly with students in Linux courses, he assisted with the installation and configuration of various applications and the maintenance of a standard IP access list for class routers. After completing the CNS program at Seneca College, Supreet Jasani went on to hold various contract positions with TELUS Communications Company, Rogers Communications, and IBM.
Supreet Jasani resides in Brampton, Ontario, and serves as a Security Analyst for The Herjavec Group. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading, and playing cricket and poker.
